1) Wallingat National Park
Land/air life: Dense flooded gum and palm forests are the most striking habitats in the National Park.
Geological/geographic: A wonderful almost 360o view from Whoota Whoota Mountain lookout allows a broad geographic perspective of the National Park as well as the Wallis Lake system, Cape Hawke and the ocean in the background.
Recreational opportunities: Guided walks available in the Sugar Creek Flora Reserve. Canoeing on Wallingat River.
Other comments: Best conditions: Light winds for canoeing.Fitness etc: moderate fitness & some canoeing skills (otherwise some swimming ability)
